Strawberry Pickin'

Okay folks, it is Saturday and I am patiently anxiously awaiting the arrival of Bryant and Gavi whom are coming to spend the night with us tonight…Yay! I haven’t seen them much since they left us in February…boo hoo! Yesterday I took the daycare (which only consisted of Logan and Baker b/c CJ didn’t come and Kyra is still on vacation) to pick strawberries at the strawberry patch. We picked Dayna and her three daycare children up as well so that they could join in the fun. It was a great day for pikin’! Not too hot, not too cold…just right! As you will see in the photos, Baker wasn’t quite sure what we were doing but he played right along. Logan liked LOVED it! That girl had strawberry juice all over from head to toe!!! I couldn’t believe noone tried to eat them as we were picking. They were so consumed by filling up the baskets, that they completely forgot about eating them© AMAZING! After we picked, we went to DQ to have a kid’s meal. That was yummy to their tummies and then it was back home for a nap. They had no arguments about that. They were out as soon as they laid down.
